CNRG World Championships 2026

What an incredible weekend for Barnsley Dance Academy at the CNRG World Championships 2026! With 17 dancers taking to the floor, our dancers achieved an amazing 12 podium places in their championship events, including 3 Globe Trophies — a fantastic achievement in an extremely tough and competitive World Championship. We were also incredibly proud to see Barnsley Dance Academy enter a Céilí dance competitively for the very first time, with our team achieving a fantastic 2nd place! It was a long weekend filled with early mornings, nerves, excitement and plenty of dancing, but every single moment was worth it. Beyond the results, we are so proud of the way our dancers supported one another, made new friends, laughed, had fun and enjoyed every moment of the experience. Each and every dancer gave their absolute best and represented Barnsley Dance Academy with such pride, determination and team spirit. 17 dancers, 12 championship podiums, 3 Globe Trophies, a 2nd place in our first ever competitive Céilí and countless memories — what a weekend to be proud of! Every dancer made the whole Barnsley Dance Academy family incredibly proud. 💚☘️🏆
