Yorkshire Rose Championships - October 2024

Barnsley Dance Academy proudly celebrated outstanding success at their very first Championships Feis, the Yorkshire Rose Championships, held in Pudsey in October 2024. This debut on the championship stage marked a major milestone for the academy, and our dancers rose to the occasion with remarkable hard work, determination, and team spirit. Competing in their first World Qualifiers, they brought home an impressive collection of medals and trophies, showcasing not only their growing technical skill but also their passion and dedication to the art of dance. For many of our dancers, it was their first experience performing at such a high level, yet they stepped onto the stage with confidence, elegance, and maturity beyond their years, representing the academy with immense pride. The success of this event has fuelled excitement and inspiration throughout our community—dancers, families, and teachers alike—setting the tone for a bright and promising future as we continue to grow, compete, and reach new heights together.
